On July 10, 2025, Scanferla Bruno took part in the final discussion of the exam project of the students of the Polytechnic University of Turin. The initiative was born from a collaboration between CNA and the University of Turin, with the aim of promoting the reuse of ferrous scrap through a concrete project.
After an on-site visit to the company’s headquarters, the students gathered all the information necessary to understand the production process and related issues, particularly the significant amount of ferrous waste generated. Starting from this observation, they developed a project that involves the recovery of these materials to create a design object intended for furnishing, thus giving new life to what would otherwise have been considered waste.
The meeting was a stimulating opportunity for discussion between the students and the company, a valuable opportunity for dialogue between the academic world and the manufacturing world, with a view to sustainability and innovation.
